Oh, Berry MerryI enjoy holidays, I love year end holidays, and I absolutely love holiday makeup collections.
While searching for several op shops in town yesterday, I found myself back at Myer. I'm kidding myself right? Op shops in town, nah. There are a few but they are not op shops, they are overpriced second hand goods that I don't need. Anyway, I was at Myer yesterday to get Nic's birthday present and I got her a makeup item that was exceptionally beautiful. I tested it and I could tell that my hands loved it straight away. I'm so tempted to get one for myself now, not because it's pretty but I think it is the best item for a face that wants to be 'I'm nude' day. I can have minimum make up and still look fantastic by applying that on the face. I'll post it up anyway, but I won't reveal it to you. Just in case, she stumbles across my post.
Chanel Quadra Eyeshadows - Oh yes, these are a real bummer. Bummer Bummer. I absolutely detest choosing eyeshadow colours. But the running around makes it all so worth it after you find the right shade and mood for your eyes. I'm currently using Chanel's Quadra Eye Shadow in Kaska Beige. I bought it on board when they told me it was limited edition, and I fell for it. I can't believe I'm so gullible. Well, I blame myself. I can't resist Chanel. Ever. Anyway, I was at Myer and I saw a few shades that looked rather promising to be part of my make up essentials in a few days time.

Say hello to Vanites - This would give me smokey berry.

StageLight- something light and playful

Enigma-See the similarities? The berry colour looks gorgeous, and I think I'm insane enough to get all quadras. But I'm leaning towards either Stagelight and/or Vanites.
While at it, I went to the Dior counter and I spotted this miniaudiere.

Just look at the outer beauty of it, gold - the sight of it satisfy me, and isn't it so cleverly crafted to look like a Dior purse that makes us, women, want to get their hands on? I saw their new palette, and it could be used for any occasion. If I'm not wrong there was a dark berry colour in it, which I love so much. This is bad, re-blogging this makes me want to get it now.

The in side of the miniaudiere, Men, make your woman be the palette of envy and get them one this season!
Also, for the ladies spoil your lips with their new limited ed. (as proclaimed by Dior's sales woman) ultra gloss reflect:

When they said it's ultra-glossy, they weren't kidding! It felt good on the lips, smooth and velvety. They have an amazing range of colours, so it's easy to like them all. But always pick a colour that suits your skin tone! Oh, remember to throw them out after 18 months, or you'll be applying bacteriagloss.
YSL french Manicure (So getting it, after cell today!)

Look at that berry on the left, doesn't it says lick me? I would have really sexy hands after these appplications! And gold..I will have gold/purple nails anytime of the day. These are my fav. colours, and you could ask my sis about that. We argued about it while we were in primary school! So silly and yes, real childish. Back to the vernis, don't you think they make seductive nails colours?
I know what you're thinking, they are pretty pricey. Yes, they are! Personally, I would rather pay a higher price to get a good make up item that is highy-pigmented, and lasting than to buy a cheaper alternative that both you and I know you'll only use it once.
Side track, Life after 15th November will be so exciting! Janet is coming and we'll be going on holidays together! =) I'm so happy I'm going to spend X'mas in Singapore. Melbourne has no festive moods and is pretty dull, so cheerios! 4 more weeks! =)
