Christian Lacroix - the costumier
Finally!After much asking around whose interested to go and accompany me to view this exhibition..Janet agreed to go with me,so I was really excited to be able to see all his outfits and sketches.So,we wore flowery clothes today!
Anyway,they're strikingly bold and brilliant,very creative designer.Gosh,I'll really wear his designs.All his great costume works with performing arts are stunningly beautiful..The pictures that I took completely didn't do justice to his outfits because it was dark inside and the lightings, I guess were to compliment the mood and the atmosphere of the exhibition but it was tough getting nice shots with my Sony 8.1mp.What's worst was that they didn't allowed us to use flash while taking pictures.However,I still had my close up zoom + night mode,so it wasn't that bad I hope.I took over 180 pictures of his magnificent work and of course,I will not be posting all up here,they're all on facebook.You may view the online gallery of it on my profile!

TOPSHOP
I got a call from Sel yst to inform me that there was a topshop photoshoot at Tampines 1 and there'll be a style advisor there to dress us up and and I got so excited at the words '$50 vouchers'!!Apparently,I was crazy enough to wake up and was determined to get the vouchers!BUT Janet called and agreed to go with mee! =) I thought I would be going alone coz mum said she didnt wanna go with me as it's too far and she thinks I'm nuts to go there just for a voucher.
But,its Topshop!!Common as they are but they do have some really nice dresses and tops!Anyway,we went to the booth at Tampines 1 and asked if there was any min. amount for the photoshoot and he said any shop with any amount.So,both hungry jurong girls went to the kopitiam foodcourt to have our lunch,took the receipt for the PS.
haha,it was abit hilarious and cheapo cause usually such stuff will require you to get a min. amount or smething..but,haha..we dont caree!!Well,honestly,I think I look abit like a milk maid compared to janet's outfit which was way nicer than mine!.So so so nt my style,but since she's the expert,i wore what she chose for me..hahaha!and yup,i got a new white tank dress from topshop!haha,so horribleee right?I know!!
ok,'nuff said!

Last Day Of Work!
Went with Sel and her mum after work to the Pet Farm cause she wanna get a puppy.We went there and we saw a cute but really shy maltese,he was the only toy breed left,the others were 'Chow Chow'(do you know they had blue-blackish tongue?) and much bigger ones.I think Sel and the lil maltese could really bond!I'm sure you're gonna be a great pet owner!=)I hope her parents would allow her to keep it so we can go for dog picnic together,speaking of which..when's our next doggie picnic janet!=)
Anyway,the place is actually really easy to go,just head to Pasir Ris MRT and take 88/58 from the interchange,alight just before Pasir Ris DR 1,cross the road,walk/drive straight into Pasir Ris Industrial Dr 1,its about 10-15mins walk.It's also a pet hotel,but after seeing how the pet hotel run,I swear I'll never let any of my dogs go to any hotels.Not that they abuse it,just seems so caged up and there's limited space for them to roam and it feels horrible to let a huskey stay out under the kind of weather we have.
Oh ya,some tips the guy gave when looking for a puppy
-Ensure they have pinky teeth gums and skin.
-Look into the eyes of the puppy and make sure you can see a clear reflection of yourself.
-Touch the nose of the pup,it must be wet and cold.
Other than that,your pet requires lots of love,care,attention,committment,time,finances.
So,do consider really well before getting it.
