IN MELBOURNE!
Did You All Miss Me?
HELLO people!!After days of being a cavewoman..We have internet in the house!!!
Sorry I took so long to update!!I'm now in Monash Uni at Caulfield,at the student lounge,listening to heart on mac and sipping on hot chocolate and blogging!
I just did up my bank account and my aussie cell will be up soon!Will keep you guys posted ok?Anyway,I'm loving the weather here even though it's cold.It is pretty cool and breezy in the morning but once it's dark,I start to freeze.I'm learning about the transportation and the various places in town,how to get to school and the various schedule that they have.It's so different compared to Singapore's transport system but yeah,i'm getting used to it.I still have 2 months before my school term actually starts so I have plenty of time.
Well,my apartment is about 15mins walk to the city and the surroundings are so pretty.While we were walking around the area yesterday,there were fallen maple leaves everywhere and it was such a pretty sight to look at.The food here WOW.Love it love it!!!I had so much good food,italian,jap,ate ice cream in the cold and I had like the best Nasi Lemak ever yesterday night,the portion was huge and the chilli super spicy but was damn good!
I had churros with melted chocolate and they have this entire street that serves italian food-Little Italy at Lygon.Really awesome...Basically,it's hard to find lousy food here.It's either good or extremely nice!hahhaa, but I still missed my chicken rice..I've been eating those bak kwas I brought in since I got here.Great,I haven't excercise and I think I've gained a few kilos already..hahaha!
Now for the shopping part,there are like streets after streets of shops where I can go crazy,but surprisingly,I've not shopped a single bit.Surprised?So am I.There's really alot of cheap and good stuff here.I saw cotton on the other day and shouted,janet's favourite shop!hahahaha!See,I do think of you ok!!and terri,the kind of bag you wanted,there's so many hereee!!
Melbourne is really nice and the people here are so friendly and I'm loving this place.And thank God,blogger's icon are back to normal!!I can't wait to show you all the pretty scenary I've taken!Gosh,I miss you guys real bad!!It'll be so much better if all of you could just come!!!
