ok..today was really cool cause it was my first Spanish Lesson.
the lecturer was born and raised in chicago, she's really nice and sweet and she looks really young.prob in the early twenties.
Anyway,we learn quite alot on how we pronounce the alphabets, like
-'A' is spoken as 'ah'
-'J' as jota(but u pronounce it as hota)
for 'J' u say it as 'H'
for 'H' u don't say the letter at all..i now it's quite confusing and everyone in class was like huh?huh?huh?but,we got the hang of it..haha!
ok,just a few..and also you have
1)hola(say 'ola'),me llamo(say 'yah-moh') Debbie.?y(say 'e') tu?
means,'Hello,my name is Debbie.and you?
but when they are asking a qn,there's always a inverted qn mark in front of the qn and another one at the end of the sentence. All the basic ones..
but i don't know how to invert here..lol
2)?como se(say 'seh') llama(ya-ma)?
means'what is your name?'
now,i know why lamborghini gallardo is pronounce the way kc always does..haha
3)?Como estas?
means 'how are you'?
then you can say,
4)Bien(say bee ant), Gracias
means'well,thank you'
i know the those words in bracket seems really dumb but i tried to make it sound as perfect as possible..abit -_-.
ok,im still quite an amateur..lol and there's going to be a oral and written test about it at the end of the semester..Till then, stay tune for more Spanish phrases
